Vivox Opens Boston Office to Support Growth and Attract Top Talent

Increasing Market Opportunities in Mobile and Social Communication Fuels Expansion

Boston, MA – March 1, 2012

Vivox, Inc., provider of VoiceEverywhere™, announced the opening of a Boston office and expansion of its team to support the rapid growth of the company's mobile and social communications products. Opening the Boston office allows Vivox to help foster the excitement and enthusiasm within the new Innovation District of the city, and to attract top local talent.

With aggressive plans for growth this year, Vivox is building out its engineering and product development staff and plans to significantly increase headcount by the end of the year. The expansion of Vivox's team reflects the increased market demand for, and Vivox's continued focus on, developing the highest quality social communication services for partners and consumers.

A key area of focus for Vivox in the coming months will be the continued expansion of its mobile development team. Highlighting this expansion is the addition of Jeff Walker as Director of Mobile Apps. Walker comes to Vivox with more than 25 years of engineering and mobile application development experience and most recently led engineering for WHERE, Inc. At Vivox, Walker will support the company's mobile strategy and will be responsible for executing on new growth opportunities in the social and mobile space to support the proliferation of Vivox's VoiceEverywhere, service.

To demonstrate its further engagement with the mobile community in Boston, Vivox announced it will host several “Mobile Monday” networking events this year. The first Mobile Monday event will be held on March 5th, at 6:00p.m., at the company's new Boston office located at 109 Kingston Street. Mobile Monday is the world's largest mobile industry community with chapters in more than 80 cities worldwide. Mobile Monday Boston started in 2006 and is one of Boston's biggest technology networking organizations.
